I am in Dhaka today and sitting in “The Furnitec Lounge Club Room” in our showroom. We are having an office meeting here, so I am just waiting for all to turn up. Hanifur just arrived and I got a piece of delicious cheese cake as breakfast. ;o)

First I drove to Teera Motorcycle shop to get some chain spray, they didn’t have it but I paid a deposit to come by later and pick it up. That was first time being there so let’s see if I can find my way back later…
Then I took a trip to Pantip Plaza as I was looking for a few things for my friend Ferdous in Bangladesh. No problem getting there, I knew the way.
But then I was supposed to go to Thai Airways at the Democracy Monument (HA-HA… what a joke here in Thailand!!!) to buy my ticket back to Bangladesh and all went wrong… I lost my way! Somehow I ended up all other places than where I was supposed to go and finally I gave up and went straight back to Pantip Plaza. Anyway it was too late to buy the ticket as the office was closed and I was frustrated about the traffic, so I decided to drop it. As I saw that I was getting close to the Elephant Building (!!!) I decided to do a detour around it to get a few pictures. The top section of the building has never been finished.

Fortunately I did not hold much money in my wallet, because Pantip Plaza is a dangerous place with lots of gadgets and other useless stuff I just gotta have… ;o)

An external HDD player you can connect directly to your TV…

Damn… I forgot to go and pick up the chain spray… so now I have to do the trip right tomorrow!
Richard Dawkins has written a gutsy new book about the delusions of religions. I have not started on it yet, put I have read a lot about it upfront and I am looking forward to dig into it soon.
The day have been used to do a bit of work on the computer, looking and sorting a bit in my many pictures and getting ready to go back to Bangladesh soon.
I still need to get out and buy a few things tomorrow and hopefully it will keep dry so I can use the Honda for it.
It might be from 1998, but it is still a beauty!
I am in Ju’s house at the moment; Ju is not here, so I am left to my own devices and the cozy company of the cat Guffe.
I have a plan to go to the city and get a good meal tonight. A big steak or something, maybe a trip to Bei Otto, the local good and old German restaurant in Sukhumvit Street. for some good food and beer! And I will take a taxi as it looks like rain and then I don’t have to think about drinking and driving!
Yesterday I bought Infernal - From Paris To Berlin. Great music, makes me wanna dance! And then it is Danish… doesn’t make it worse! See them also here on YouTube and listen to them here on MySpace!
I came across an article about a Danish search engine for cheap air fares called MOMONDO.COM, so I placed a permanent link in my link section for future use. So now you have even less excuses not to come here for a visit! ;o)
